Why does my UPS produce a beeping sound?

During a power outage or when the UPS is not connected to the mains power,
the UPS will produce a beeping warning signal. This is normal and warns you, so you can save files and safely shutdown your PC.

What backup time can I expect?
Backup time is highly dependent on what type of PC is connected.
The time mentioned on package/website is the maximum backup time.
Solving problems
The UPS is not working/provides no power.
Note: after every step, test if the UPS is working.

Charge the UPS for 24 hours without any computer connected.

Make sure the connected devices do not exceed the maximum power of the UPS (this can trigger the circuit breaker or burn the fuse)

Reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse as described in
the manual . After this charge the UPS again for 24 hours.

The computer connected to the UPS might have a problem like a short circuit. Test with another computer. If this solves the problem, contact your computers manufacturer.
