• Check the voltage on the bottom of your notebook or in your notebooks manual. The voltage is indicated with … V or ...Volts (see picture below)

• Make sure you have set the correct voltage as described in the manual.  (disconnect laptop first!)
• Make sure you are using the correct connector with our tip selector.
• Press the connector firmly into the notebook. 
• With the C-tip (for HP and Asus), a clear click sound should be heard when connecting to notebook!
