Power adapters / Laptop chargers

  • To ensure the best connection and prevent overheating of the tip:
    • Always use the recommended tip from the compatibility list on www.trust.com/ITEMNUMBER*/compatibility (* replace ITEMNUMBER with the 5-digit article/item number of your product)
    • Press the connector firmly into the notebook’s socket. On most models, a clicking sound can be heard when the connection is made.
  • If the power adapter has a switch to change the power output, make sure the switch is set to the correct power before connecting the power adapter to any device.
  • Only connect a notebook that requires the same or less wattage as the product.
  • Confirm that the wall outlet provides the same type of power indicated on the device, both Voltage [V] and frequency [Hz].
  • Before use, verify that the device, the attached cable and the wall outlet are not damaged in any way.
  • Make sure the device is not placed on a heat-sensitive surface and that the adapter has sufficient ventilation.

AC-Powered devices

  • Use only the power supply unit that came with your device.
  • Only use AC power provided by a standard wall outlet.
  • Confirm that the wall outlet provides the same type of power indicated on the power supply unit, both Voltage [V] and frequency [Hz].
  • Before use, make sure the power supply unit, the attached cable and the wall outlet are not damaged in any way.
  • During lightning disconnect the device.
  • Disconnect the device when you don’t use it for a longer time.

Placing the smoke detector

  • Always comply with the local regulations for installation in buildings.

Testing and usage of the smoke detector

  • Always test the detector using the test mode after placement and after that once a week.
