In 2018, investment company Egeria acquired a majority stake in Trust. With this investment the company embarked on a new course. Starting with a new management team. Recently a new Customer Supply Chain (CSC) Director has hired been within the Supply Chain team. The new CSC Director is determined to build on the business in line with the set goals, operational strategies and policies; customer engagement and collaboration, different ways to markets and distribution strategies. In this ambitious CSC team there is currently a vacancy for a new to be hired Demand Planner.

Demand Planner



In the role of demand planner you will be reporting directly into the CSC Director and you will be responsible for setting up the demand planning process within Trust. This Demand Planner role is ideal for someone who is not afraid to wants to drive change and is not afraid to move into unchartered territories. Somebody who wants to become better personally and professionally every day. We want to be closer to our internal and external customers while gathering and analyzing demand trends and signals, driving joint value collaboration with multiple business partners and taking on a key role in driving business decisions. This position will be responsible for setting up the demand forecast at customer, country and category level, while at the same time supporting the process from a supply chain perspective. You will work very closely with the category managers, sales and marketing and supply chain teams to create and maintain a demand plan and to support the S&OP processes.

As a senior member of the CSC team, you will also be expected to support, coach and motivate the supporting team members to achieve the aligned executional goals and financial KPIs.


Your contribution:

  • Build, develop and establish a great joint value collaboration process with the category managers, the key account managers, country managers and marketing teams.
  • Acquire, understand, and incorporate demand signals, channel data, replenishment triggers in the development of the product level demand plan.
  • Support the countries in their account level planning and use this data as a key input into the demand planning processes
  • Actively drive the development and implementation of processes and tools related to demand planning, forecasting, and supply allocation.
  • Establish an event management process with category management and the sales and marketing teams
  • Support the implementation of the S&OP process within Trust. Both at country and a company level.
  • Prepare and present demand plans, actual performances, inventory status and call out any risks and opportunity with the appropriate solution during monthly S&OP meetings with senior executives.
  • Establish and maintain SKU-level demand plan for assigned product category using analytical and statistical tools, intelligence gathering and collaboration.
  • Monitor inventory levels, take corrective and preventive actions with related functions to avoid supply shortages and excess/aging stocks.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc performance summaries with fact-based root cause analysis, propose & carry out corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage product life cycle transitions from (NPI) New Product Introduction phase to (EOL) End of Life to ensure supply availability and targeted inventory level.
  • Support the continuous improvement initiatives to refine existing process and tools and to develop the next generation of activities.


Your Skills / profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
  • 5-10 years’ experience in supply chain and demand planning preferably in the consumer electronics industry
  • Analytical mindset, able to analyse large amounts of data and make clear recommendations based on these numbers. 
  • Continuously look for ways on how to drive efficiencies, automation and improvements in your day to day job. You embrace continuous learning and process improvement.
  • Experienced participation in S&OP processes.
  • Ability to analyse trade-offs between inventory, air freight, capacity, etc. and make informed decisions/ recommendations.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability in face of uncertain or incomplete information.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, with a positive proactive attitude and a high degree of initiative
