In the role of Key Account Manager ACH, you will be responsible for driving the profitable growth within the PC, Gaming and Mobile categories across the consumer channels. You will have accountability for the achievement of revenue and profit targets and will provide the monthly and quarterly outlook for your managed accounts.
As a Key Account Manager, you will be tasked with identifying incremental growth opportunities across your customer base. You will ensure alignment across the ACH Retail & B2B channels and drive for incremental market share gains. Working closely with the marketing teams, you will be tasked with driving incremental execution through improved distribution and trade marketing.
Within this role you will be expected to forge relationships on all levels within your key customer(s) through regularly face to face and digital engagement. You will be required to present a rolling 6 month executional plan across your account base.
This role reports to the Head of Retail DACH.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of a number of ACH customers, collectively important to the total market KPI’s;
- Building and executing a strategic plan aligned with the goals and ambitions of the ACH business;
- Work with the Marketing & Sales teams to outline a full 360 degree annual marketing, execution and promotional plan across the Consumer channels;
- Clearly define market share ambitions and risks/opportunities within the ACH markets;
- Launch the required new product introductions (NPIs) across key customer base with pre and post analysis of execution;
- Develop an extensive contact network within each key customer;
- Responsible for the forecasting of the portfolio and optimising the logistical operations with the support of the supply chain teams;
- Maximise the ‘soft dollar’ investments including discounts, Marketing Development Funds, customer contributions and rebates;
- Define and optimise the execution of all strategically important products (SIPs) across the account base within the B2C channel;
- Drive the Phase In, Phase Out (PiPo) across the outcoming and incoming portfolio per customer;
- Negotiate the annual contractual agreements and seek to optimise all investments, in return for mutually profitable growth.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience selling in a Consumer (B2C) environment across DACH;
- Localised market, competitor and consumer/shopper knowledge;
- Proven ability to achieve significant growth with a proven record of delivering sales and profit targets;
- Results driven, confident and engaging;
- A strong influencer with a can do attitude;
- A team player;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills;
- Exceptional at relationship building;
- Creative thinker, fast learner and self-motivated;
- Native German speaking, both written and spoken;
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken;
- The role is DACH based and requires travel within Austria and Switzerland frequently.
