Video Conferencing Category Marketing Manager


In the role of VC Category Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the profitable growth of the video conferencing category across the B2B and e-commerce channels in Europe.

You will have accountability for the achievement of revenue and profit targets and you will be tasked with building an annual pan-European business plan.

Within the annual plan, you will manage the VC marketing communications to the B2B and e-commerce channel to drive market awareness, specifically targeting end-users, VARs and SMB resellers.


Job responsibilities:

  • Create annual growth plans by translating market insights into annual category plans & roadmaps.  These to include market specifications, target audiences, brand position, competitor activity, promotional activities and consumer trends
  • Manage revenue & margin targets
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap and planning, creating clear concepts as input for the R&D department, in order to kick-start consumer-focused product development
  • Create and execute the marketing plans and coordinate new product introductions , driving market awareness of our VC products
  • Define key KPIs and monitor them, to include the market share position, traffic, conversion, etc
  • Align action plans with both central and local stakeholders (sales teams, marketing team, Country Heads)
  • Provide toolkits for sales teams in order to execute central plans fast and efficiently
  • Create and deliver training for sales, corporate VARs and SMB resellers
  • Provide consultancy to the central content team in order to reach optimal conversions
  • Systematically provide post mortem analysis to evaluate improvement areas for future promotions and launch strategies
  • Manage the marketing budget to plan and maximize return on investment. Look for new and creative ways to stretch our spending and deliver a high return on that investment


This role reports to the Head of B2B EMEA and has a strong dotted line to the Marketing Director.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably business or marketing oriented
  • 5+ years Marketing experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of delivering successful marketing programs
  • Enthusiastic, confident and engaging
  • A team player with a can do attitude
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Creative thinker, fast learner and self-motivated
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • The role requires occasional travel within Western Europe
