Success for the Trust Gaming Esports teams

Dordrecht, the Netherlands (July 2018) - On multiple fronts, the Trust Gaming teams let their opponents taste defeat. In the Rainbow Six Benelux League, at Virtulan and in the League of legends competition of the Dutch College League, the Trust Gaming teams won important victories.

Trust Gaming (Rainbow Six Siege)
The final of the Rainbow Six Benelux League Season I took place last Saturday. The Trust Gaming Rainbow Six team competed for the title at the new ESL studios in Haarlem. Rainbow Six heroes Kixstar and Z1ronic took care of the commentary during the matches.

A strong semi-final with a 2-0 victory against Flash Point brought the Trust Gaming team to the final. The last opponent to defeat was Team Demise. Trust took a quick 1-0 lead but Team Demise came back to a draw. The third map was decisive and made Trust Gaming the winner of Season I of the Rainbow Six Benelux League! Besides the honour, they collected the prize money of no less than €3,500 and got a seat in the Milan Games Week tournament in October. For those who can't wait, the team will attend DreamHack Valencia next week.

Trust Gaming (Counterstrike: Global Offensive)
Trust Gaming's CS: GO team participated last weekend in Virtulan, a LAN party in Belgium. Trust Gaming finished second in the group stage with three wins and one loss.Via a series of victories in the complicated system of an upper and lower bracket competition, Trust Gaming ended up in the final against Luminous Gaming.

Because the team entered the finals via the upper bracket competition, they started with a 1-0 lead and needed to win only one more map. The score levelled for a long time, but Trust Gaming began to take the upper hand. This eventually resulted in a victory and the first place on Virtulan! They went home with €1,500 in prize money.

Trust Gaming Erasmus Esports (League of Legends)
In Rotterdam's Esports House 010, the final of the Dutch College League took place. On the line was a ticket for the International E-Sport Federation World Cup in Taiwan. Trust Gaming Erasmus was considered the favourite in this League of Legends competition as they performed very well in recent months. The match was played against ESEV Zephyr in an exciting best-of-5 series.

Trust Gaming Erasmus took a quick 2-0 lead, but ESEV Zephyr came back strong in the third game, resulting in a 2-1 score. The fourth and final match had a slow build-up, but Trust Gaming Erasmus eventually took the lead. Thanks to some great teamwork, they won the DCL trophy! The brand-new champions will now represent the Netherlands during the IeSF World Cup in Taiwan in November.
