Installation and configuration

Where can I find the driver?

This gamepad does not need a special driver to function. The support for this product is already built into Windows.

Steps to follow to install the gamepad (see manual for images):

  1. Charge the gamepad with the charging cable
  2. Connect the USB receiver
  3. Click the on button, then set the input button on the gamepad
  4. Go to Control panel - Devices and printers - Game controller settings to configure the gamepad

How do I switch the gamepad off?

This gamepad doesn't have a shutdown button and the way to turn it off completely is to disconnect the USB-receiver.

On the other hand, if you wish, you can also leave the USB-receiver constantly connected to the PC and when the PC is turned off or enters standby after some time of inactivity, the gamepad will also turn off. This is the recommended, but not mandatory, option.

What is X-input or DirectInput?

X-input is the input standard for newer games for the Windows operating systems and is used by most of the latest games that support the use of a gamepad. If the game supports X-input, the gamepad is used in X-input mode. 

DirectInput is an older input standard for gaming and is used by most older games that support the use of a gamepad.If the game supports Directinput, the gamepad is used in DirectInput mode.

For correct use the gamepad switch must be set according to the input that the game specifies: X-input or DirectInput mode.

How do I know the gamepad is charging/charged?

When the gamepad is charging the light will be blinking.
When the gamepad is fully charged the light will be off.

What do the 4 LEDs mean?

The 4 LEDs have two functions;

  • to indicate which controller number you are using (number 1, 2, 3 or 4)
  • to indicate battery:
    • If the four lights are lit, it means your controller is fully charged.
    • If the LEDs are blinking, it is because the battery level is very low. 

Some buttons/controls are not working in games.

A switch is located on the back of the gamepad, with this switch you can change the input method from X-Input to DirectInput.

If you have a wireless gamepad, first make sure that the gamepad is fully loaded.

Solving problems

I have lost/broken the USB-receiver. How do I receive a new USB-receiver?

It's not possible to provide a replacement receiver for this product.
This is due to the fact that during production the product and receiver receive a unique code, so the product can only communicate with the bundled original receiver.

My device keeps disconnecting during use

Test the various scenarios, as described below, to narrow down and eliminate possible causes. 

Continue testing and vary only one thing at a time.

  • distance: make sure you are close enough to the receiver. It may seem simple and possibly not be the issue, but that must be proven or disproven one way or another.
  • battery: is the battery fully charged?
  • location: when using a receiver, try to move the receiver to another location, preferably from behind the device you are using our product on.
  • interference: are wireless devices such as a router or wireless speaker close by? Other wireless devices can cause interference.
  • up-to-date: Is the device you are using our product on up-to-date? E.g. is Windows up-to-date, are the USB-drivers up-to-date, etc.
  • device: does it happen also when you use our product on another device?

The Z-axis is not working in Windows 8.

When checking the game controller properties in Windows 8 it may seem that the Z Axis is not responding. This is a bug in the Windows 8 system. Go to the ‘settings’ tab and ‘Calibrate’ your game controller to see that the Z Axis is working properly.

Some buttons/controls are not working in games.

  • Configure the buttons in your games settings / controls  menu.
  • For PC: Uninstall old software that is related to gaming controllers.

Where is your service center? Or where can I send my product to be repaired?

Unfortunately, we do not have service centers to repair products.
A defective product should be replaced by your point of purchase during the warranty period.

My product is faulty. What do I do?

We offer a 'return to retailer' warranty on our products. In case of a defect, you can return the product to your retailer with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories.
