Installation and configuration
How do I install my USB-headset in Windows 10?
Once the device is connected, Windows OS installs a built-in driver for it.
- Make sure your system is up to date following the instructions from the website www.windowsupdate.com.
- Unplug the device and restart the system.
- When Windows has completely loaded, connect the device directly to the USB port without using a hub or an extension cable.
- Check in the Device Manager if the product is correctly installed or if there is any error message reported.
- When the device is recognized by the system, you need to select it as default device for recording and playbacking. For this please refer to the Audio properties of Windows > click Sound, then click on the "Play back devices" tab and select the correct device: Select USB device
- To activate microphone: Click Sound properties, then click on the "Recording" tab and select the correct device: Select USB device
I get an error during installation.
