Content Manager

Due to further professionalization of the marketing content throughout the international group, we are looking for a Content manager to join their European marketing team.

In this critical leadership role, you will manage a team of 7 content creators (copywriters, video, photo etc.) and external agencies. Under your expert guidance and direction, this team will create, improve, and optimize all Trust’s digital-platform-related and instore content for their retail and e-commerce channels to achieve their business goals. To this end, you will collaborate closely with the brand team, digital marketers, R&D team and the product launch manager.

As the 'king/queen of content', your scope will be broad. You will need to master the entire content process, including translations and local support, for all of Europe. Plus, you will ensure each local entity is well-trained and kept in the loop. 

 

Main tasks & responsibilities

  • Stakeholder and team management in an international environment
  • Agency management and coordination
  • Customer-focus with a service-minded, hands-on approach
  • Organizing tasks and managing time by structuring and coordinating priorities
  • Knows how to motivate and coach a team of young professionals
  • Lead the creative briefing, development and optimization of always on digital content across all retail channels informed by consumer insights, user data and brand positioning/TOV
  • Responsible for all content and product information and data, photography and editorial on the different channels
  • Create guidelines, toolkits and best practices to share with Local Marketing teams digital trends and support the implementation of user journeys for all audience segments across our retail channels
  • Sets up tooling and systems which will help Trust to distribute content across Europe.
  • Direct reporting line to the Marketing Director

 

Candidate Profile & Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in content management
  • BSc degree in marketing, communication, or relevant field 
  • Significant experience in E-commerce with a proven record in delivering sales growth and innovation
  • Proven track record in operating across multi teams and markets
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse & remote teams demonstrating management and leadership skills
  • Experience managing teams up to a minimum of 10 FTE
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A hands-on approach and attitude to get things done
  • Has strong communication skills, articulating thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in both written and spoken communication
  • Agency management experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Fluently in both Dutch and English
