What is Virtual Reality?

]

Virtual Reality (VR) is an experience in which you eyes only see (3D) images coming from a computer and can interact with it in some way. Since you do not see the 'real' world anymore, the images can make you feel immersed in a different world. With the Trust VR glasses you use your phone as the computer to display the (3D) images. The phone is put in front of your eyes inside the glasses and by moving your head around you can look in different directions (depending on the content you are watching of course).

1. Install & start the YouTube app on your phone and search for ‘3D SBS’ and choose any movie.
2. Open the front cover and insert your phone. Optional: add included padding to prevent accidental button presses.
3. Sit down before putting on the glasses.
4. Make adjustments to optimize image quality. Center align the phone display. Put the glasses on and adjust the head straps. Adjust pupil distance with the rotating knob on top. Instead of 2 slightly overlapping pictures, you should see 1 picture. Adjust focus distance with the 2 rotating knobs on the sides (turn simultaneously). The picture should not be blurry but sharp.
5. Start the movie and enjoy!

Google Cardboard

]

Google Cardboard is a project by Google to use and create VR apps. Part of this project is the Google Cardboard app, which is a great starting point to experience different aspects of Virtual Reality. Another part of the project is that you can optimize the image quality of apps for the VR glasses. Google Cardboard-based apps can be optimized for your VR glasses by scanning a QR code with the Cardboard app or in-apps that are based on Google Cardboard. You can find this QR code on the inside of the front plate of the Trust Exos 3D Virtual Reality glasses and also in the manual. Scan the QR code and receive the best image quality for the best VR experience.
