E-COMMERCE ADVERTISING MANAGER

 

You will be an important asset to the team, as you will be in charge of the advertising strategy (search and display) for Amazon and other key e-commerce partners across Europe. Your goal is to drive traffic and brand awareness, by defining, driving and challenging the implementation of our advertising strategy in alignment with our advertising agency.

 

In this role you will report directly to the head of e-commerce, and work closely with the key account managers, content specialists, category managers and local marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and drive the implementation of advertising strategy for Amazon and other key e-commerce partners;
  • Manage and challenge the implementation of advertising strategy through media agencies;
  • Integrate brand guidelines and drive consistency across all markets in alignment with central & local marketing teams;
  • Define clear KPIs and drive weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to evaluate campaign performance and improve future decision making;
  • Define campaign strategy around new product introductions and key deal events (e.g. Prime Day or Black Friday), in close alignment with local KAMs and local marketing teams;
  • Analyze trends in consumer searches and convert this into action by adapting advertising and content strategy;
  • Optimize brand content (e.g. brand stores) in close collaboration with the central and local marketing teams;
  • Conduct various analyses & generate insights to feed our marketing team in order to drive content improvements;
  • Stay up to date with latest digital trends and best practices in the online advertising industry.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or master degree, preferably marketing oriented;
  • At least 3 years experience in digital marketing / e-commerce;
  • Strong experience in driving advertising strategies and campaign development;
  • Strong capability and understanding of e-commerce platforms like Amazon;
  • Data-driven mindset, with proven ability to translate insights into actions;
  • Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and a positive attitude;
  • Self-disciplined, independent and organized;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Good knowledge of either Dutch, German, French, Spanish or Italian is a preference;
  • Affinity with PC - and gaming accessories is a preference.
