In this role you will be working within the Customer Supply Chain team and you will be responsible for the daily operational work for a select group of countries and customers. This role is ideal for someone who has just graduated, or with a few years of experience. You will be in daily contact with your assigned customers (business-to-business) and our Sales team. You will receive and process Sales orders and are the primary contact for customers for operational questions, for example regarding backorders or leadtimes. As Customer Supply Chain team we want to be closer to our internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence and together with the logistics team you will strive to achieve customer service level expectations.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the processing of sales orders for a select group of customers and countries and all the related processes;
  • In charge of daily/weekly contact with customers regarding order management and/or slot management;
  • Maintaining of good contacts with your customers to achieve collaboration, efficiency and to maximize turnover;
  • Optimizing for the customers within your scope the stock allocation to sales orders and managing stock reservations for key customers;
  • Support the Tactical Supply Planner to establish a regular collaboration with your key customers, with the focus on maintaining the right level of inventory;
  • Create and analyze backorder reports;
  • Update and maintain product pricing and product life cycle management;
  • Continuously look for ways to improve customer service and predictability;
  • Work together with your colleagues to keep driving standardization, automation and optimisation among projects and processes;
  • Supporting the sales team from an operational point of view, providing them with clear and up to date info regarding order deliveries and/or revenue outlook;
  • Develop, track and continuously improve KPIs through close collaboration with the customer and sales teams.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
  • 0-2 years’ experience in customer service, preferably in the consumer electronics industry;
  • Experience in business to business environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. English required, additional languages are a plus;
  • Experience using an ERP system (we use MS Dynamics Navision) and comfortable in Excel;
  • Analytical mindset, able to analyse data and make clear recommendations based on these numbers;
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, with a positive proactive attitude and a high degree of initiative;
  • Customer focused, precise and organized and a teamplayer.
