Finance Employee (Operations and Credit Control)

A Finance Employee focused on Operations is responsible for executing key financial support tasks closely tied to the sales cycle. This includes booking bank statements, processing and managing bonus agreements and reservations, releasing orders in coordination with finance checks, issuing credit notes, and handling sales mailbox inquiries. This individual plays a crucial support role between the finance and commercial teams, contributing to efficient and accurate financial operations while embodying the company’s core values: Entrepreneurial, Empowering, and Trustworthy.

Responsibilities:

  • Book daily bank transactions across multiple entities.
  • Reconcile bank accounts in a timely manner.
  • Process, update, and monitor commercial bonus agreements.
  • Ensure timely reservation of related costs.
  • Conduct financial checks for releasing sales orders (e.g., payment status, credit conditions).
  • Prepare, review, and issue credit notes per internal policies and sales input.
  • Handle requests and questions from the sales team related to pricing, credit notes, payments, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and financial controls.
  • Maintain audit-proof records.
  • Identify improvements in the communication and documentation flow between sales and finance.
  • Use ERP systems (e.g., Navision), banking platforms, and document management tools.
  • Liaise with sales, customer service, and credit control teams to ensure alignment.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Ongoing development through relevant certifications is encouraged.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in finance or accounting with exposure to operational or sales support finance tasks.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Navision is preferred), sales operations, and booking processes.
