Where can I get software/drivers for my Trust product?

This product doesn't need any software/drivers to function.
Just connect and the product should work.

The microphone is not working / recognized by the computer

Support for this microphone is built-into Windows.

Once the product is connected, Windows recognizes the product and installs the built-in driver.

Follow the below steps below to solve the issue:

  1. Is the microphone connected to the correct port, the microphone port (see manual for more information)?
    Important: If your computer has a combined audio port instead, contact the helpdesk via the 'ask a question' section for an alternative solution. You don't have to follow the rest of the steps in that case.

  2. If the microphone is connected to the correct port, is it activated/unmuted with the button on the top?

  3. If the microphone is connected and activated, is the microphone visible in the Recording settings?
    • Right mouse-click on the volume icon in the taskbar
    • Select Recording devices
    • Right mouse click on an empty space in the Recording window.
    • Click on Show Disable Devices and Show Disconnected Devices
    • When the microphone is shown as Currently unavailable or Not connected, remove the microphone from the port and reconnect the microphone again.
    • When the microphone is detected, test the microphone by speaking in the microphone.
    • Look at the grey bars next to the name of the device in the Sound/Recording window.
      - When the grey bars next to the device turn green, the device is active and an audio signal is send through the microphone port. The problem should be solved now.
      - When the grey bars remain grey and inactive, then the computer doesn't recognize a signal. Leave the Recording window open and go to the next step, since the microphone possibly still has to be setup as the default device.

  4. Select the microphone in the Sound/Recording window
    When the device contains a small circle with a downwards pointing arrow, the device is disconnected.
    Right mouse click on the name of the device and select 'connect' to activate the device (green arrow).
    • Click Set default to setup this device as the default audio device.
    • Click OK.


  5. Possibly the loudspeaker volume for the microphone is too low or off.
    Check the volume:
    • Select the active microphone (with green arrow) and select Properties.
    • Properties window opens.
    • Click Levels.
    • When the button Sound is activated, click the Sound off button to unmute the microphone.
    • Set the volume to a number between 75 and 100.
    • Click OK.


  6. Use the Sound/Voicerecorder to check if the computer receives a signal from the microphone.

Where is your service center? Or where can I send my product to be repaired?

Unfortunately, we do not have service centers to repair products.
A defective product should be replaced by your point of purchase during the warranty period.


My product is faulty. What do I do?

We offer a 'return to retailer' warranty on our products. In case of a defect, you can return the product to your retailer with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories. Does this microphone work on Mac?

Theoretically, this is an analogue microphone and should work with any device supporting a 3.5 mm microphone connection.
Nevertheless, some MAC systems do not support a 3.5 mm microphone connection, working exclusively with their built-in microphone.
Please make sure that your Mac system has a suitable 3.5 mm microphone input connection.
