Maintaining leadership in sustainability: Trust achieves EcoVadis Gold for fourth consecutive year

Sustainability remains high on the agenda for both businesses and consumers, and by receiving EcoVadis Gold for the fourth year running, Trust proves that this is more than just a passing fab. This latest achievement keeps Trust in the top 5% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis over the past 12 months, further reinforcing the company’s position as a leader in sustainable business practices. 

 

EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings, evaluating how effectively companies integrate sustainability into their operations and management systems. With increasingly challenging criteria, earning Gold once again reflects Trust’s continued progress in making sustainability a core tenet of the entire business, from product design and sourcing to operations and governance. 

 

This year, Trust was highly commended for its strong performance across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The company continues to demonstrate clear progress and accountability in these areas, for instance through the endorsement of global initiatives such as the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), the UN Global Compact (UNGC), and the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI). 

 

Trust’s progress is not just limited to policy, with EcoVadis also noting the company’s focus on implementing concrete, documented actions and tracking performance through defined KPIs. For instance, this includes increasing the use of more sustainable materials, as well as reducing material consumption through process optimisation. Together, these efforts validate the hard work done to ensure that Trust’s operations serve not only its customers, but also its employees and the wider planet. 

 

Furthermore, the EcoVadis rating also supports Trust in responding to the growing demand from customers for sustainable products and a transparent supply chain. As expectations continue to rise across both consumers and business partners, this achievement underlines Trust’s position as a reliable and responsible partner.
