Copywriter & Communications Specialist

About the Role
As Trust International continues its journey from a value-for-money brand to one that emphasises quality and emotional connection, we are expanding our communication capabilities. In this role, you will be the voice that brings our brand to life. Crafting the market. You will combine sharp copywriting skills with a strong understanding of brand communication, ensuring our messages are consistent, engaging and aligned with the overall brand and company strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

Brand Voice & Communication

  • Help develop the brand and communication strategy into clear and engaging messages across channels.
  • Convert business goals and product innovations into clear and emotionally engaging narratives.
  • Own and evolve the company’s Tone of Voice, ensuring consistency across all platforms.

 

Copywriting & Messaging

  • Write and edit high-quality copy for products, packaging, campaigns, websites, social media and internal communications.
  • Craft compelling copy for a wide range of audiences - from gamers and lifestyle users to business customers and internal employees.
  • Optimise digital content for SEO and (AI) performance (ecom, website, social).
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, product and digital to ensure compelling and consistent messaging.

 

Internal & External Communications

  • Partner with HR to create engaging and clear internal communications, including policies, announcements and newsletters.
  • Craft internal communications that inspire and align employees with our brand vision.
  • Support leadership with messaging for town halls, newsletters, and strategic updates.
  • Develop press releases and storytelling assets for PR and external partners.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR, R&D, design, marketing and leadership team to ensure communication supports business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of storytelling-led campaigns that integrate visuals and text.
  • Guard and evolve the company’s Tone of Voice, ensuring consistency across all platforms.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in brand storytelling, copywriting or communications.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling narratives across channels and formats.
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, tone of voice and audience segmentation.
  • Experience in B2C and B2B, preferably in consumer electronics, lifestyle, or gaming.
  • Native English speaker with excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
