Installation and configuration

How do install the headset?

To use the headset:

  1. Fully charge the headset. When the headset is charging the light is red, when it is fully charged the light is blue.
  2. After it has been fully charged, press the button on the headset for 6 seconds to start the pairing process. The light will blink red/blue.
  3. Go to the Bluetooth section on your phone and select the TRUST EP-04 to pair.
    Note: in some phones it may be necessary to switch Bluetooth off/on before starting the pairing process.
  4. The headset is ready to use.


How can I reset my headphones?

To reset a head/earphones that is not responding to the buttons, insert the micro-USB charging cable into the head/earphones for charging. This will shut off the head/earphones automatically.

Make sure that the cable is connected to a charger, when you do this.

How to force a repair?

  • Shut the headset completely off
  • Hold the button for over 10 seconds
  • The headset will go into forced pairing mode

How does the iPhone handle incoming phone calls when using a Bluetooth headphone or speaker?

As of iOS 11.2, when you are using a Bluetooth headphone and receive a phone call, the button that you use to pick-up the phone call, determines which device is used for the audio.

If you pick-up the phone call with the green button on the iPhone display, then all the audio will be handled by the iPhone microphone and speaker (and not with any connected Bluetooth device).

If you pick-up the phone call with the call pick-up button on the Bluetooth device (headphone or speaker), then all the audio will be handled by the Bluetooth device.

If the person that is calling you cannot hear you – or the other way around – it may be possible that you picked up the phone with one device and are talking via another.

Use the audio icon on the iPhone display during the phone call to change the audio device.

Where is your service center? Or where can I send my product to be repaired?

Unfortunately, we do not have service centers to repair products.
A defective product should be replaced by your point of purchase during the warranty period.

My product is faulty. What do I do?

We offer a 'return to retailer' warranty on our products. In case of a defect, you can return the product to your retailer with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories.   • During the warranty period you will receive a replacement product from the retailer if available.
  • Warranty will be void in cases of opened products, physical damage, misuse, modification, repair by unauthorised persons, carelessness and using the product for other purpose than its intended use.
  • Exclusions of warranty:
    • Damage caused by accidents or disasters, such as fire, flood, earthquake, war, vandalism or theft.
    • Incompatibility with other hardware/software not defined as minimum system requirements.
    • Accessories such as batteries and fuses.
