Installation and configuration
How do I install these earphones?
- First charge the case, this will take approx. 1.5 hours. The light on the case will turn blue if the case is fully charged.
- Then charge the earpieces in the case, this will take approx. 35 minutes. The light is red when charging. The light will turn blue when the earpieces have been fully charged.
- When the earpieces both have been fully charged, start the pairing process by pressing the button for 10 seconds on one of the earpieces. The light will flash blue-red.
- Select the Trust Duet2 Earphones in the Bluetooth list of the phone to pair the Duet2 to your phone.
Please note that in some phones it can be necessary to switch Bluetooth off/on, or restart the phone before the pairing will be successful. - The Duet2 is successfully paired when the light on the earpiece is blue.
- Now link the earpieces together, by pressing the button on the other earpiece for 4 seconds.
- The Duet2 is ready for use.
Solving problems
How to reset the earphones?
- Switch off both earplugs
- Then switch the earplugs both on again at the same time, and keep the button on both earplugs pressed for approx. 8 seconds until you hear a similar peep from both earplugs
- Then release the buttons, switch off the earplugs and pair the right earplug with the phone according to the instructions (10 seconds)
- Switch on the left earplug (4 seconds) so that the ears are paired.
When making phone calls, I hear the audio from one side, is that correct?
How does the iPhone handle incoming phone calls when using a Bluetooth headphone or speaker?
As of iOS 11.2, when you are using a Bluetooth headphone and receive a phone call, the button that you use to pick-up the phone call, determines which device is used for the audio.
If you pick-up the phone call with the green button on the iPhone display, then all the audio will be handled by the iPhone microphone and speaker (and not with any connected Bluetooth device).
If you pick-up the phone call with the call pick-up button on the Bluetooth device (headphone or speaker), then all the audio will be handled by the Bluetooth device.
If the person that is calling you cannot hear you – or the other way around – it may be possible that you picked up the phone with one device and are talking via another.
Use the audio icon on the iPhone display during the phone call to change the audio device.
Where is your service center? Or where can I send my product to be repaired?
Unfortunately, we do not have service centers to repair products.
A defective product should be replaced by your point of purchase during the warranty period.
My product is faulty. What do I do?
We offer a 'return to retailer' warranty on our products. In case of a defect, you can return the product to your retailer with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories. - Your Trust product is guaranteed under the terms and conditions of this warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year* from the date of original purchase, if purchased from an official retailer.
- *In EU, there is a statutory minimum warranty period of 2 years on every product we sell.
- In case of defect, return the product to your retailer with failure description, valid proof of purchase and all accessories.
- During the warranty period you will receive a replacement product from the retailer if available.
- Warranty will be void in cases of opened products, physical damage, misuse, modification, repair by unauthorised persons, carelessness and using the product for other purpose than its intended use.
- Exclusions of warranty:
