Frequently Asked Questions

Installation and configuration

I just bought it and can't find the USB-receiver. Where is it?

The receiver is stored either inside the product, or inside the battery compartment of the mouse.

How to install?

- Open the battery cover on the bottom of the mouse
- Take the USB-receiver out of the mouse
- Place a full battery in the battery compartment
- Close the battery cover
- Connect the USB-receiver with the USB or USB-C connection to your computer.
- Turn the mouse on with the on/off button on the bottom of the mouse.
- The computer will recognize the mouse and installl the built-in driver, this might take a few moments
- The mouse is ready for use.

Where can I get drivers for my Trust product?

This product doesn't need any drivers to function.
Just connect and the product should work.

Solving problems

I have lost/broken the USB-receiver. How do I receive a new USB-receiver?

It's not possible to provide a replacement receiver for this product.
This is due to the fact that during production the product and receiver receive a unique code, so the product can only communicate with the bundled original receiver.

The left button clicks 2x instead of 1x. What can I do?

Firstly, we would advise to check if it’s a software problem or if there’s an issue with the hardware. To test this, you can either plug the mouse (with fresh new batteries) into another computer, or plug a different mouse into the computer.

If it is a software issue we would advise to:
- Check if single-clicking is enabled
- Check if double-click speed is set too low
- Reinstall the mouse driver by removing the current mouse driver and let Windows reinstall it. To do this, right-click the Start Button and choose Device Manager. Expand the Mice and other pointing devices category and right-click your mouse. Choose Uninstall device, then restart your PC.

My mouse is not working?

We advise to first double-check the batteries, then disconnect the receiver, restart the computer and reconnect the receiver.

If the issue persists, test the mouse by connecting the receiver to another USB-port and another computer.

My mouse is not working on my Mac. What do I do?

We would advise to check the following:

  • Are the batteries full and making good contact in the battery compartment?
  • If the mouse has an on/off switch: Turn the mouse off, wait ten seconds, and turn the mouse back on with the button on the bottom.
  • Plug it into a different USB port.
  • Make sure the mouse’s receiver isn’t plugged into a USB hub.
  • Make sure the receiver is physically close to the mouse.
  • Try turning off other nearby wireless devices.
  • Reboot the connection by restarting your Mac.

If the issue persists, test the mouse on another computer.

The mouse arrow shakes, moves strangely or does not move at all.

  • Try using the mouse on a different surface or use a mousepad.
  • Clean the sensor on the bottom of the mouse with a dry cloth.
  • Improve wireless performance.
