Installation and configuration
How to install?
- Connect the mouse to the USB-port of the computer
- The computer will recognize the mouse and install the built-in driver, this might take a few moments
- The mouse is ready to be used
- Download the latest driver (with adminstrator rights) via the website
- Click on the “23645_X.exe” and follow the installation wizard.
- Click on the “TRUST GXT 950 Gaming Mouse” shortcut to start the software.
- You can now start to configure the mouse. In the manual will be referred to ‘Apply’ to update the
mouse. Updating the mouse can take up to 20 seconds depending on your system.
Where can I get drivers for my Trust product?
Where is the Mac-driver?
This particular product has been developed for use with the Windows operating systems only.
Therefore drivers or installation instructions for other operating systems such as Mac are not available.
Usage
How to assign a function to a button?
Assign a function
- Click on the Button you want to re-assign
- Click on the function you want to assign.
- Click on ‘Apply’, the mouse is being updated.
Note: At least one Mouse Button has to be assigned as “Left Click”.
How to create and assign a macro?
Create a macro
- Click on the ‘Macro Manager’ button.
- Click on ‘New’ to create a new macro.
- Set the delay time between each action and/or the loop/repeat setting.
- Click ‘Start record’ to start recording the macro. Now enter your preferred macro sequence.
- Click ‘Stop record’ to stop recording the macro. (max. 62 actions)
- Click on ‘OK’.
- The created macro is now available under the ‘Macro’ function.
Assign a macro
- Click on the Button you want to re-assign
- Click on the function you want to assign.
- Click on ‘Apply’, the mouse is being updated.
Note: At least one Mouse Button has to be assigned as “Left Click”.
How to change the lighting?
Change the Lighting:
- Click on the ‘Lighting’ tab.
- Change the light mode.
- Change the animation speed.
- Click on ‘Apply’, the mouse is being updated.
When I use the software, it doesn't run (properly)
Make sure that when you download, install and use the program you are doing so with administrator rights (right-click > run as administrator).
Solving problems
When I use the software, it says NO DEVICE. What can I do?
Check the following:
- The product is connected correctly to the computer.
- The software has been restarted.
- You have downloaded, installed and are using the software with administrator rights (run as administrator).
The downloadable file (e.g. the driver) will not completely download to my computer. What can I do?
When the file doesn't completely download/install to your computer, we recommend:
- Delete the downloaded file or files
- To uninstall the installed file
- After all is removed and uninstalled, re-download the file from the website.
Please note:
- Install the file only after it has been fully downloaded, otherwise you will receive an error.
- Alternatively use a different browser and/or a download manager to download the file.
- Make sure to install the file with administrator rights.
- Check that your virus software program is configured correctly for downloads.
- When more than 1 file is available, make sure to download the correct file for your article version and operating system version.
The mouse arrow shakes, moves strangely or does not move at all.

Try using the mouse on a different surface or use a mousepad.

Clean the sensor on the bottom of the mouse with a dry cloth.
Where is your service center? Or where can I send my product to be repaired?
Unfortunately, we do not have service centers to repair products.
A defective product should be replaced by your point of purchase during the warranty period.
My product is faulty. What do I do?
We offer a 'return to retailer' warranty on our products. In case of a defect, you can return the product to your retailer with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories. - Trust offers a warranty to the original purchaser from an authorized retailer.
- Your Trust product is guaranteed under the terms and conditions of this warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year* from the date of original purchase, if purchased from an official retailer.
- *In EU, there is a statutory minimum warranty period of 2 years on every product we sell.
- In case of defect, return the product to your retailer with failure description, valid proof of purchase and all accessories.
- During the warranty period you will receive a replacement product from the retailer if available.
- Warranty will be void in cases of opened products, physical damage, misuse, modification, repair by unauthorised persons, carelessness and using the product for other purpose than its intended use.
- Exclusions of warranty:
- Damage caused by accidents or disasters, such as fire, flood, earthquake, war, vandalism or theft.
- Incompatibility with other hardware/software not defined as minimum system requirements.
- Accessories such as batteries and fuses.
